Deze poëziebegeleiding zal deelnemers helpen door middel van discussies en analyses van ruimtelijk bewustzijn en impact. Wat betekent het om ruimtes te navigeren die beladen zijn met koloniale geschiedenis? Wat is de impact hiervan op onze socialisatie van private en openbare ruimtes? Wat zijn veilige ruimtes en wat betekent het om een veilige ruimte te hebben? Het doel is om uiteindelijk onze eigen geschreven korte gedichten te hebben als reactie op vragen die tijdens de workshop worden gegeven.

This poetry facilitation will assist attendees through discussions and analysis of spacial awareness and impact. What does it mean to navigate spaces charged with colonial history? What is the impact this has on our socialisation of private and public spaces? What are safe spaces and what does it mean to have a safe space? The aim is to end up with our own written short poems responding to questions that will be given in the workshop.

Aurélie Disasi, ook bekend als Aru Lee (hun/hen), is een queer multi-disciplinaire kunstenaar die hun achtergrond in Interieurarchitectuur en poëzie gebruikt om workshops te faciliteren rondom de concepten van Veilige Ruimtes, intersectionaliteit en inclusie, met een focus op anti-racisme. Aru heeft meer dan 10 jaar ervaring in de kunst- en cultuursector, waarbij ze actief is geweest als dichter, schrijver en recentelijk als dramaturg.

Aurélie Disasi also known as Aru Lee (They/them) is a queer multi-disciplinary artist that uses their background in Interior Architecture, and poetry to facilitate workshops around the concepts of Safer Spaces, intersectionality and inclusion with a focus on anti-racism. Aru has worked in the arts and cultural sector for over 10 years navigating as poet, a writer, and more recently as a dramaturg.
