Verbinding en afstand ritueel onderzocht
En reconnaissance brengt choreografie en geluid samen in een voorstelling die ruimte biedt om te experimenteren met wat ons als individuen en als groep scheidt, verbindt en beweegt. Er wordt ruimte gegeven aan wat aanwezig is, zonder hiërarchie te stellen tussen wat als menselijk en niet-menselijk wordt beschouwd.
In deze nieuwe creatie wil Gaëtan Rusquet zich afvragen hoe we onszelf verhouden tot de ander en tot de groep. En reconnaissance is een poging om onze verlangens naar verbinding en afstand te ritualiseren. Het onderzoekt onze dynamiek van deelname en afwijzing door een ruimte voor te stellen waar het politieke en het intieme samenkomen.

En reconnaissance merges choreography and sound in a performance that creates a space to experiment with what separates, links and moves us as individuals and as a group. Giving room to what is present, without establishing a hierarchy between what is considered human and non-human.
In this new creation, Gaëtan Rusquet seeks to question the way we situate ourselves in relation to the other and to the group. En reconnaissance is an attempt to ritualise our desires for connection and detachment. It investigates our dynamics of participation and rejection by proposing a space where the political and the intimate meet.
