Francesca Chiacchio creëert collectieve performances, ongeacht de omgeving waarin ze zich bevindt. Ze bezit een eigen uniek systeem met kleuren en codes, en op basis daarvan ontwikkelt ze complexe en speelse situaties. Deze kunnen door het publiek gelezen of gevolgd worden op basis van fanzines, vanwaaruit publieke presentaties ontstaan.
Chiacchio verhuist in 2023 haar werkruimte naar Genk, Dilbeek, Brussel en Brugge. Met kleuters onderzoekt ze een nieuw werk.
Deze residentie maakt onderdeel van een residentietraject waarbij we kunstenaars de kans geven om hun creaties ook toegankelijk te maken naar het jongste publiek, zonder het in de kern te moeten veranderen.

Francesca Chiacchio creates collective performances, no matter her surroundings. She has a unique system of colorus and codes, and on that basis she develops complex and playful situations. These can be read or followed by the public based on fanzines, out of which public presentations are born.
In 2023, Chiacchio is moving her workspace to Genk, Dilbeek, Brussels and Bruges. She is developing a new work, together with toddlers. This residency is part of a trajectory in which we give artists the opportunity to make their creations accessible to the youngest audience, without having to change the essence of their work.
