Sandra Sara Raes Oklobdzija (1980, Servië) is een artivist, conceptuele kunstenaar, performance maker, onderzoeker, curator en creatieve producer, sinds 2012 gevestigd in Brussel.
Haar onderzoek op het gebied van kunst en cultuur bevraagt voortdurend het ingewikkelde web van relaties tussen migratie, gemeenschap (her)opbouw, gelijkheid en collectiviteit. Niet alleen door haar praktijk als kunstenaar en programmamaker (Sara Oklobdzija) maar ook via haar werk als curator en producer (Sandra Raes) streef ze ernaar om haar onderzoeksbevindingen samen met tal van scherpe vragen rond temporariteit, identiteit, migratie en collectieve responsabiliteit, ook in praktijk om te zetten en ze in het dagdagelijkse gebeuren toe te passen. In 2018 vervoegde ze ROBIN vzw, vandaag haar kern organisatie. In 2020, richtte ze KOROW vzw op – 'Art-Center for Cultural Decontamination, social diagnostic & social correction’ en sinds dit voorjaar maakt zij ook deel uit van HOTM – Brusselse activistische beweging.
Momenteel werkt Sandra Sara als doctorandus in kunsten, bij RITCS/VUB, waarbij ze haar onderzoek met de titel The School of Two-Sided iteration verderzet. Sinds september 2022 Sara doceert politieke actualiteit en artistieke onderzoek aan het RITCS school of arts.

Sandra Sara Raes Oklobdzija (1980, Serbia) is an activist, conceptual artist, performer, researcher, curator and creative producer, based in Brussels since 2012.
Her research in the fields of art and culture continuously questions the intricate web of relations between migration, community (re)building, equality and collectiveness.
Through her research, she raises sharp questions around temporality, identity, migration and collective responsibility. She aims to apply her artwork, research, curation and production to everyday life.
In 2018 she joined ROBIN, a Brussels-based production structure supporting socially engaged art practices. In 2020 she founded KOROW - a 'Center for Cultural Decontamination, Social Diagnostics and Social Correction'. Sara is currently working on a PhD with the working title 'The School of Two-sides Integration or How to Build a Functional Host Society', affiliated with RITCS and VUB. She also became part of HOTM in 2020 - an activist organisation in Brussels.
