Opgericht door altsaxofonist en componist Roman Norfleet, cellist/multi-instrumentalist Harlan Silverman, en pianist Kennedy Verrett — die ook een breed scala aan blaasinstrumenten bespeelt — richt The Cosmic Tones Research Trio zich op muziek als genezende kracht.
