Creatieve gezinsworkshop voor jong en oud
Textielkunstenaar Salomé Grdzelischvili leerde de techniek van het vilten en weven van tapijten in haar geboorteland Georgië. Haar praktijk geeft leven aan figuratieve textielcreaties - vaak gebaseerd op iconografische beelden uit de kunstgeschiedenis - maar ook aan abstracte creaties. Salomé Grdzelischvili wordt ondersteund door Globe Aroma werkplaats.
Tijdens de workshop maken we samen een runner uit lontwol, die als decoratie-element zal dienen voor de lange tafel bij het evenement Rit'uali op woensdag 1 november. De workshop is gratis mits inschrijving.

Salomé Grdzelischvili is a textile artist. She works with natural and dyed wool. From this organic, pure and natural fabric, she makes different items: rugs, decorative objects, and jewelry. Salomé learned to master the technique of felting and weaving rugs in her native country, Georgia. Her practice gives life to figurative textile creations - often based on iconographic images from art history - but also abstract ones. Salomé Grdzelischvili's practice is supported by Globe Aroma workplace.
During the workshop, we will make a runner out of fur wool, which will serve as a decorative element for the long table at the Rit'uali event on the 1st of November. The workshop is free but registration is requested.
