De literaire wedstrijd VLOED speurde de kustlijn af op zoek naar vers talent. Er spoelde heel wat moois aan… In deze tweede editie konden we een veelzijdige en spannende shortlist opstellen met poëzie, sciencefiction, magisch realisme, autofictie en literair essay!
De namen uit de shortlist waren: Puk Bennie Delvaux, Nelson Morus, Zindzi Tillot, Ellen Gillard, Sofie Verraest en Siska Van Daele.
Deze shortlist bracht ons twee winnaars, Puk Bennie Delvaux en Sofie Verraest. Tijdens hun schrijfresidentie in De Letterie gaan ze onder het literaire oog van o.a. Sofie Vandamme, Sandrine Verstraete en Tülin Erkan aan de slag met hun bestaande werken en nieuwe ideeën.
In deze periode bereiden ze zich ook voor op een presentatie bij KAAP Oostende - voor een publiek, op het podium én met een prikkelende publicatie, vormgegeven door Chloé Dhauwe.

The literary competition VLOED scoured the coastline in search of fresh talent and many beautiful works washed up... In this second edition, we were able to draw up a diverse and exciting shortlist that includes poetry, science fiction, magical realism, autofiction and literary essays! The shortlisted names were: Puk Bennie Delvaux, Nelson Morus, Zindzi Tillot, Ellen Gillard, Sofie Verraest and Siska Van Daele.
This shortlist brought forth two winners, Puk Bennie Delvaux and Sofie Verraest. During their writing residency at De Letterie, they will work on their existing works and new ideas under the literary guidance of Sofie Vandamme, Sandrine Verstraete and Tülin Erkan, among others.
During this period, they will also prepare for a presentation at KAAP Ostend - for the public, on stage and with a tantalizing publication, designed by Chloé Dhauwe.
