Stanley Ollivier

Stanley Ollivier is een Franse danser, performer en choreograaf. Hij studeerde aan de Académie Internationale de la Danse en het CNSMDP in Parijs en behaalde zijn Master of Arts in dans aan P.A.R.T.S. in Brussel. Stanley is geïnteresseerd in fysiek onderzoek, wat zich niet beperkt tot beweging. Hij werkt rond vragen over de plaats van amusement in hedendaagse dans, en over contextverschuiving, identiteit, humor en veelzijdigheid.

Stanley werkte onder meer samen met Kamel Ouali, Tatiana Seguin, François Rousseau, Lasseindra Ninja, Iván Pérez, Luis Ramirez Muñoz, Pippin, Morgan Productions, Disney Channel, Lila&John, Nina Muñoz, Collective LA 360/Sarah Deppe, Timothe Chams Yadollahi, Cie Tabea Martin, Brahim Tall, en Geert Belpaeme. Hij presenteerde zijn in contexten als To Be Antwerp Festival, Cocq’arts Festival, Tic Tac Art Center, Beursschouwbourg, BAMP, Design Museum Brussel, Queer Festival Heidelberg e.a. Hij is een actieve deelnemer aan de Ballroom Scene en is lid van het Iconic House of Ninja in Brussel en Parijs.

Stanley Ollivier is a French dancer, performer and choreographer. He studied at the International Dance Academy and CNSMDP in Paris, and obtained his Master of Arts in Dance at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels. He is interested in physical investigations, including but not limited to movement. He works around questions related to the place of amusement in contemporary dance, context displacement, identity, humour, and versatility.
