Nathan Felix-Rivot

Nathan Felix-Rivot is een danser van Toulouse, Frankrijk, wiens artistieke praktijk begon wanneer hij als 8-jarige naar Le Lido ging, de circusschool van Toulouse. Hier ontdekte en ontwikkelde hij verschillende disciplines zoals luchtwerk, acrobatiek en theater. Nathan heeft een breed spectrum aan sociale achtergronden en interesses: sport, Braziliaanse en Afrikaanse muziek, de mode-industrie, sociale en economische studies en traditionele vechtsporten. Zijn ervaringen in deze verschillende velden hebben een sterke invloed op het werk dat hij momenteel ontwikkelt aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Antwerpen, waar hij binnenkort afstudeert. Als performer werkt hij rond het idee van vrijheid, gebruikt hij veelzijdige technieken en speelt hij met geluid, ritme en stem.

Nathan Felix-Rivot is a French dancer from Toulouse who started his artistic practice at the age of 8 at Le Lido, the Circus School of Toulouse. Here he discovered and practiced various disciplines such as aerials, acrobatics and theatre. Nathan has a broad spectrum of social backgrounds and interests: group sports, Brazilian/ African music, the fashion industry, social & economic studies and martial arts. His experiences with these different fields have a strong influence in the works that he's currently developing the Royal Conservatorium Antwerp, where he will be graduating. The versatility of techniques, the idea of freedom and play with sounds, rhythm and voice are elements that define his identity as performer.
